OT Bar Multiuse

OT BAR Multiuse is a bar with two sides, a flat side and a round side, which can be used according to the needs.
If resilience is required, it is placed with the flat side upwards.
If a prosthesis with a less resilient function is to be built, it is placed with the round side upwards.
If the bar is placed in a single linear section, as in the case of two canines in the incisal area, either side A or B can be used.

If we use the round side upwards, we will obtain an oscillating movement in the distal edentulous area.
In the other version, we obtain resilience in both incisal and distal edentulous areas.

Another alternative is to obtain the superstructure directly on the MASTER model without the duplication.
The CLIP will be retained by the castable housing, guaranteeing, thanks to its tolerance, an adequate and long-lasting functionality.

The “RIGID” bar is likely to be used as “linking” between two steady teeth where a back and forth rocking is necessary. Besides this kind of bar can be used in a multiple steady teeth scenario in which the base of a prostheses laid down on an “ATROPHIC” tissue gum.

Bar to be mounted using the mandrel on side “A” and complete way up by resin or wax.

Finished casting. Do not wear out the retentive surface when polishing.

Level undercuts using wax and insert positioning clips “A”.

In order to isolate, adapt some adhesive tape (ie: scotch) on the positioners “A” and on the cast bar, then insert the castable box housings

Connect the castalbe boxes with self curing resin. the adhesive tape will avoid the infiltration of the resin.

Finish wax up and add castable connectors for reinforcement, sprue it and cast.

Finished casting with retentive clips snapped into place.

Finished denture with cast reinforcement and retentive clips inserted.
